After Removing Office 2003 Pro and updating to Office 2007 Pro I went to start Outlook and got this pop-up Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable First make backup of IE and Firefox FAV, My Documents with Music, Pictures and documents. Get what ever you feel is important, because it will be wiped out if you don't I uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2007 Pro 3X One thing to check is log-out of the PC and login to another account Then start Office 2007 Outlook and see if you can add e-mail info ? If you do not get the pop-up Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable, Then your login for the NON working Outlook 2007 has a Corrupted Profile Here is how I fixed this issue. I looked at my Registry by going to Start/Run and type CMD Then I typed regedit This will open up your PC Registry look here HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0 \Outlook Make sure you see 5 or 6 folders and if Not. Then you put the Office 2007 Pro CD and do a REPAIR Here is the FIX You have to Wipe out your Profile. login to another account and DELETE the the Profile that is not working. Then restart and login You will see a new computer that you have to reset back up Remember those backups I told you to get. bingo Office 2007 Pro will now work. Info Link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913843 Anything I fix I like to share my knowledge :twothumbsup[1]: |
