Cubase 5.5.1 Hotfix - requires Cubase 5.5.0 update

The hotfix available here addresses particular problems when running 3rd party VST plug-ins in the 32-bit version of Cubase, which are related to the Windows Vista and Windows 7 “User Account Control” mechanism.

Issues with the included De-esser plug-in when used on mono tracks have been corrected under both Windows and Mac OS. The hotfix also provides the following improvements:

• When batch exporting broadcast wave files, the time-code origin is correct now
• Improved import compatibility for DV PAL video files
• After applying a control room preset, the control room remains active

The hotfix release is an immediate response to customer requests and is only recommended to users experiencing the above-mentioned problems. However, the hotfix has not been gone through Steinberg’s entire quality assurance process. For that reason, technical support cannot be granted and installation is done at your own risk.
Please note: the hotfix requires an existing installation of Cubase 5.5.0!
