Wife stays as Stage 2 Level 4
They found spot on her lung and they feel it is OK and will monitor it They did not find anything in lymph nodes.

So that is good news. She is to go back to Doctors and may go to Moffitt Cancer Center Tampa Fla for 2nd opinion.

http://www.moffitt.org/

She needs a break from all the medical stuff and we will enjoy our time

Wife talked with Nurse and she has to go back to Doctors to get 2 other spots checked.
The cut to remove the Mole that had Melanoma was very deep and has not healed

She is in pain and now they want to cut more on her.

This is very hard on me to see the love of my life in pain.

Please pass the info I have posted to help your love ones.

I took My Wife Pennie back to her Doctors to have another Mole removed.
she has cut about 2 inches long and 3 stitches. They gave shots to numb the area.
What most do not realize is you can move and not feel the stitches.

We stopped on our way home at Ace Hardware where I purchase a Shower hand sprayer that I installed in our spare bathroom. This way she can use the hand sprayer to shower with. Something we learned from the first cut that was a month ago and is still healing from being a deep cut.

When we got home she looked at her spot where it was bleeding, She called her doctors and we cleaned it up and put clean dressing on it. She will have to watch how she move while the drugs is numbing the area.

I have told work that I need a personnel day to take care of my love.
She took such great care of me when I had my surgery.
Taking care of each other is what married people do, Its called Love.

We went back to Doctors and 2nd spot is OK
Doctor wants her to go to Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa http://www.moffitt.org/
The first spot needs to be check by a specialist
She could go from Stage 2 to Stage 4 over night and they need to stay on top of it

She trying to get back to some normalcy in her life.

We went to Tampa Moffit Cancer Center Dec 27, 2010
The Drive was about 3 hrs and we want to thank my Mom for loaning her car
It made the trip so much easier and stress free, since ours is not Highway worthy

Wife has to go back Jan 11, 2011 to Tampa Moffit to see the
Thoracic Doctor to look at the spot on her lungs and Pulmonary Test for her lungs

They want her back Jan 14, 2011 to cut more of the Mole area out.
They said her local Doctor did not cut enough out was sub par.

I am glad we went to Moffit Cancer center with Doctors that know what they are doing.

They will cut more of the same area the Mole was and deeper.
They will also remove some sentinel nodes to check and see how far this Melanomas has traveled

The Problem with Melanoma, it's an aggressive cancer that the treatment has to be just as aggressive to survive.

She will get radiation treatment and we will go back Jan 24, 2011

Then we will know more about our chances

Wife is OK but this has hit her very hard, I am trying to stay Strong

Jan 11, 2011 back from Tampa from a 9hr day and the Spot on Lung looks to be OK

The Doctor feels the a spot on lung is from her Rib, and could have come from the car accident she was in 1992 when she got whiplash from someone
not seeing the red light and ran into the back of her car. Doctor said it looks to be scar tissue.
This is a huge positive for us.

This Friday Jan 14, 2001 she will be in Surgery for 6 hrs to cut out more of the mole spot and Sentinel Nodes.
This will another 9 to 10 hr day

When I get her Home
The trick for me is to keep her in bed for 3 days and not let her rip her stitches.

I took the day off work because I am mentally worn out and I need to be ready this Friday Jan 14th

We will know more Jan 24th on her health and she hope she can get back to a normal life.

My Boss at work loaned me his F150 lariat 4 door truck that is OMG wonderful to drive.

So happy to hear that the spots on her lungs are no problem my friend. I can relate to your stress, as my wife had part of her lung cut out due to lung cancer.

All will be okay my friend, be strong for her, that's what she needs. The Great Spirit will look over her my friend. :)

I am here at Moffit Cancer Center waiting Wife to get out of Surgery.
She went in about 1:10 PM and should be out by 3:30 PM

For anyone with a love one in surgery the waiting is like a slow knife in the heart. I have tried everything to keep my mind off the surgery but nothing is working. All I can think of is the love of my life and asking the lord to please help her. I pray the angels hear my me to bring her out to me.

I hate this waiting
