PC Trouble Shooting
When you have 1 long 3 shorts beeps this is usually the video.
Turn OFF the Computerand then to discharge the caps on the motherboard. 1. Unplugging the AC power cord from the PSU and then pushing in & holding on to the Computers power button for about a minute. While you are at it, make sure you clear the NVRAM (reset the CMOS) by either removing the CMOS battery for a few seconds or doing it via the clear CMOS jumper Then try to reseat the video card too. Once all the above is done, reseat the RAM, reconnect the AC cord, turn on the PSU & fire up the Computer. Lets just hope you do not have a toasted Video card.
