Actually,

Mike is no longer the stand in drummer for AX7, as much as I can't stand this band; I know this because of one of my recently deceased bands' drummer moved over to AX7. Arin Ilejay would be the new drummer of AX7, former member of confide as of January 2011.

For those of you who don't follow extremely underground music religiously, Confide is an SXE Christian organic post-metalcore band; they disbanded late last year. A comprehensive breakdown of that genre would provide you the following:

SXE is a short term of the word straight-edged; which often refers to the fact that the members of the band are drug free, and will often refuse to tour with bands that involve heavy drug use into their daily activities.
Christian would refer to music and song lyrics that disassociate with cursing and other fowl word play, also can involve association with a church.
Organic this is probably one that you don't recognize. Organic often involves lyrics qualities of a song, it could be closely related to to independent bands such as The Postal Service, and Death Cab for Cutie; can also be used in context of keeping a song uncluttered from to many musical elements.
Post often a modifier on a specific genre, such as post-rock, post-grunge, or post-hardcore; generally refers to a tuned down tone of its modifier(s)
Metal-Core a genre that arose out of the 90's punk movement; often involves rifts played in the guitar tuning of drop D,C or lower. Songs often have an off beat pace and can include a break-down (a purposeful decomposition of musical elements in a song to make certain elements heavier and to promote moshing or pit-dancing)
