Default Iron Man 3 info

Robert Downey Jr. is about to take on his fourth film as genius billionaire playboy philanthropist Tony "Iron Man" Stark, and sources say he wants to look a bit different for Iron Man 3. No, he doesn't want different hair or bigger muscles or a bright pink suit. He just wants to add a few inches ... to his height.

Downey stands at a slightly below average 5 feet, 8 inches, and though he's won the franchise roles of both Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes, he always thought his body would get in the way of being an action star.
"I guess I had some notion about it. I've always really enjoyed that genre, but I mean, it's pretty outlandish," Downey said in the current issue of Men's Fitness. "I'm not particularly tall or strong or fast or aggressive. Yet I'm not faking it. To me, it's a cosmic chuckle."
Downey added a lot of mass to his previously 150-pound frame to play Tony Stark in the first place, but his height has never really gotten in the way of his stardom. Yet this time around, rumor is that Downey's stylist wants to elevate him a bit with 3-inch boosters in his shoes.
"They're working on a special pair just for him," a source said. "The lift insole needs to be concealed in a high top shoe or boot. The highest that's offered the general public is 2 inches."
This is coming from Us Weekly, by no means the most reliable of publications, but you have to admit that standing next to Chris Hemsworth for a whole movie would be enough to give anyone an inferiority complex. It could just be an amusing bit of preposterous Hollywood gossip, but as soon as we see an Iron Man 3 trailer we'll be checking Downey's height against the rest of the cast to see if he grew.
